Kevin on the Keys is built around one simple idea: Music should bring people together, not intimidate them.
Founded by pianist, musical director, and educator Kevin Winebold, Kevin on the Keys creates performance and workshop experiences that invite people into Broadway – not as spectators, but as participants.For more than 20 years, Kevin has worked as a teaching artist and musical director, guiding rooms full of students, artists, and first-timers through Broadway music in a way that feels welcoming, human, and joyful. His work is rooted in creating spaces where people feel safe to explore, ask questions, try things out, and connect – whether they arrive as seasoned performers or complete beginners.
Kevin leads each experience with care and intention, collaborating closely with Broadway artists and meeting participants where they are. Every workshop is designed to support individual access
needs, encourage curiosity over perfection, and make sure everyone leaves feeling successful and included.
